overrated? maybe.

Christmas’ been really…i would say, peaceful.
no extravagance nor crowd, just something different from the past years’. i hope everyone’s been happy cause i’m really glad my friends are around to accompany me through this day. and i truly mean it from my heart. (:

received a few christmas gifts and seriously, some of them are really unexpected! but i love presents anyhow. hehe.

this year, my mum got me a diamond ring which… i just didn’t see that coming at all. and she even told me that she got my 21st birthday gift already. omg, how fast is that?! haha.

and my bro, he got me a guess watch. i must say, i am really very touched cause i didn’t even request for it or anything and he just decided to get it for me. not only that, my bro’s sponsoring our trip to thailand in jan!

for once in a blue moon, i feel like a pampered child.. and it’s the once in a blue moon that makes it even so precious. (:

ladies’ night so what?

oh how i wish i could have a long weekend, but it’s back to work tomorrow again!! ):

thank goodness it’s friday tomorrow. and that means, really time to grab christmas gifts! i love shopping. hehe. :P

anyway, i attended Spencer’s OCS social dinner at Safti yesterday. and the best part was, the dinner’s at 7.15pm and i was only informed like a few hours before. rushed home after work, showered and got ready with make-up, dress and hair-do all done within half an hour! seriously record breaking man.

saw some people from my secondary school, ben pang and ben wee too. haha. it was like a mini gathering. :P

this reminds me of the commissioning ball i attended with yh almost 2 years back or so? haha. that was more formal.

joined teresa and friends at st. james after the dinner since it was still kinda early but OMG, the place was so damn crowded that we were queueing the whole time just to get that freaking stamp on the hand.
after more than 2 hours of queueing altogether, we finally gave in and left.

this is the most terrible experience everrrrrrr i tell you!

time to scrub my face and put on a mask now.. hehe.

ad&d ‘07.

it was my company’s ad&d on sat. got my dress recycled and altered, did my own make-up and hair so i wouldn’t have to spend. hahah. :P

the crowd aside, it was really very entertaining! haha. i love those perfomances put up by different special guests. food was not fantastic but okay.

why crowd aside? cause the whole night i was only attracted to one of the waiters serving my table. that’s damn sad i know! blah. it’s not really much about the looks but some people just couldn’t be bothered to at least dress up appropriately for the event that they’re attending, yeah.
