it’s a long long journey..

my laptop’s been screwing up too much lately that i decided to visit the comex show to grab some decent goods. hehe. i had a horrible phobia of that place ever since i went there with zhen yao 2 years ago. haha.

anyways, it was crowded as always! but it didn’t take me too long to get my stuff though. it’s surely not a place i would want to spend too much time at. except that you do see quite a number of cute guys. haha!

so within about an hr, i got myself…

-ipod original earpiece x1 for my BPC
-asus eeebox x1
-asus wireless keyboard & mouse x1
-samsung lcd monitor x1

it doesn’t matter going to the comex show alone…
it doesn’t matter moving around with this trolley in a crowded place…
it doesn’t matter paying by MYSELF..

BUT,

it matters when the stupid taxi driver doesn’t bother to help me carry my stuff onto the boot la! DAMN HEAVY YOU KNOW.

that’s probably the only time i feel so strongly about not having a man right next to me.

damn emo can….

then still got to carry the trolley up the damn stairs.. ):

nevermind.

la teh-ed with teresa and we decided to take a walk back to clementi and she’d take NR back. we left the place at 1.30am and arrived at the bus stop only at 3am la! hahaha. what’s worse was, we waited for the bus for nearly 45 mins? and the stupid bus driver just zoomed past her without even looking la. wth! talking about saving on taxi fares. HAHA.

i remember taking the exact same route back home with bryan like 2 yrs back? haha. it’s nice to take long walks once in a while though….

i remember catching a show myself that night while waiting to meet teresa at 11ish. nobody seemed to be available that evening so i reckoned that was the best thing to do. i’m seriously getting used to it already.. (:

22 & 23-08-08

both days were filled with beautiful fireworks! hehe. the fri one was not as spetacular as the sat’s one cause it’s very much similar to last year’s. but the one by the korea team on sat was splendid! amazingly pretty and long enough to satisfy our eyes and love for fireworks. hehe.

it’s a moment that i cherish; to catch the fireworks with the right people. (:

the group of us then proceeded to brussels sprouts @ robertson quay. it’s certainly an excellent discovery located right next to the river! it’s an ideal place to get some good beers and super scrumptious mussels & desserts.

i’m never a person who fancy beer but the fruit beers that they serve are so smooth and yummy that it feels like i’m downing champagne.

my wittekerke rose beer. it’s pronounced as [wi-ter-kerk-ro-say]. with an obvious hint of cherry when you savour it. (:

their specialty which nobody should ever miss when you visit! it’s probably the freshest and yummiest mussels i’ve ever tasted so far. hehe.

we ordered the creme brulee as well and it’s OMG. rocks my socks totally! HAHA.i would surely go back for their sweets.

the right atmosphere with the right company and a fortune to have such great food is surely the best remedy to all fatigue and moodiness. ((:
